Six stages of fieldwork
Each stage ends with a clear deliverable: a letter, a list of open items, or a signed report.
Scoping & engagement letter
We confirm year-end, entities in scope, known related parties, and independence. You receive a letter stating fees, timeline, and management responsibilities.
Planning & materiality
We set planning materiality from turnover and asset size, identify significant risks (revenue cut-off, inventory, related-party loans), and agree interim visit dates.
Interim procedures
Where useful, we test payroll, purchases, and control walkthroughs before year-end so the final visit focuses on cut-off and subsequent events.
Inventory observation & confirmations
We attend physical counts when stock is material and issue bank and receivable confirmation requests in the first week of final fieldwork.
Partner review & clearance
Open items are listed with owners and due dates. The engagement partner reviews working papers and challenges significant judgments before drafting the opinion.
Opinion & management letter
You receive the signed auditor’s report and a management letter of observations. We hold an exit meeting so nothing lands on the board without context.
